Here is a list of the hosting providers I have considered or I am currently considering.
Scala hosting
Scala hosting is my actual hosting provider. I have the Start Package (arount 11 US$/month). Unlimited sites, very fast at serving the website also in Europe, also very supportive. They offer Wordpress plans.
GitHub Pages
Only serves static files, it has a quite big free tier.
Fastly CDN
Fastly is the CDN that powers GitHub Pages. It is said to be incredibly fast.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare is another CDN that supports Hugo websites, see Deploy a Hugo site.
